  28 If you need additional software installed on one of the machines (either
  29 in the host system or a chroot environment) please contact
  30 debian-admin@lists.debian.org, but keep in mind that not all software is
  31 available on all architectures.  The chroot environments can be
  32 entered with the 'dchroot' command; take a look at the list of machines
  33 to know which one has chroots available for you.

  35 You need to use ssh to log into the machines; telnet and rlogin are
  36 disabled for security reasons.  The LDAP directory is able to share RSA
  37 ssh keys among machines, please see <URL:http://db.debian.org/doc-mail.html>
  38 Otherwise when you first login a ~/.ssh directory will be created with
  39 the appropriate permissions.  Please be aware of the security
  40 implications of using RSA authentication and ssh agents.

  42 To give you a quick overview here is a list of the most important
  43 machines from the project you can access.  First there is
  44 ftp-master.debian.org, it is our main archive server and the place
  45 where you upload your packages.  It is restricted, so you can only
  46 upload with anonymous FTP - a tool like dput or dupload can aid this
  47 process.  The Projects web pages, CVS archive, the main shell server
  48 and various other stuff is located on gluck.debian.org.  This machine
  49 is also reachable as {cvs,people,www}.debian.org.  If you want your
  50 own Debian related site to appear behind
  51 <URL:http://people.debian.org/~__LOGIN__> then put it at this machine
  52 in the directory ~/public_html/.

  54 The machine hosting most of our VCS repositories
  55 ({svn,bzr,git,arch,hg}.debian.org) is alioth.debian.org. It's handled
  56 by a separate team (admin@alioth.debian.org) as it allows login by
  57 non-Debian developers. You probably already have a *-guest account
  58 there.  Please refer to http://wiki.debian.org/AliothFAQ to learn
  59 anything you need to know, including how to activate your account and
  60 how to request the removal of your old -guest account.

  62 There is one developer-only mailing list, debian-private.  You have been
  63 subscribed to this list as <__PRIVATE__>, please respect the privacy of
  64 this list and don't forward mail from it elsewhere.  This subscription, and
  65 a lot of other data like your private information, can be changed at the
  66 web interface available behind <URL:https://db.debian.org/>; just login
  67 with the password information appended to this email.
