4 When logging into Debian porterbox machine:
6 * List available chroots:
11 * Begin a persistent schroot session on Debian unstable:
13 $ schroot -b -c sid -n mysid
16 * Update and upgrade Debian unstable chroot:
18 $ dd-schroot-cmd -c mysid apt-get update
19 $ dd-schroot-cmd -c mysid apt-get upgrade
21 Do it for real [Y/n]: <Enter>
25 * Install your broken package build dependencies:
27 $ dd-schroot-cmd -c mysid apt-get build-dep gentoo
29 Do it for real [Y/n]: <Enter>
33 * Change root to Debian unstable chroot:
38 * Download your broken package source:
40 (sid_arch-dchroot)user@porterbox:~$ apt-get source gentoo
43 * You should be able to reproduce your issue, hack on the package, fix the bug. Once you are done with your work, please, finish your schroot session:
45 (sid_arch-dchroot)user@porterbox:~$ exit
50 * List (your) open sessions:
52 $ schroot --list --all-sessions
54 $ schroot-list-sessions
